15 years ago, I began making tie dye for myself and family. As a plus sized mom I wanted to join in on the fun of wearing the bright happy colors with my kids but had difficulty finding curvy flattering tie dye. As a result I resorted to at home dye kits and stove top tie dying which was a color disappointment. Over the years, and before youtube teachers I began to unravel the once guarded secret art of creating vibrant colors through chemical reactions and procion dyes.
I became known for being that bright colored tie dye family. It didn’t take long for friends, then friends of friends, next people from town to begin requesting custom tie dyes from my practiced skill. You too can join in on the fun of wearing tie dye art!
