Purchase Guidance

I want you to feel happy in your new tie dye!

Thinking about ordering? If you have any questions regarding an item in the shop, send me an email before ordering. If there are any questions regarding size, please email me first before purchasing. I can go into further detail about how that particular item fits. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to provide information you may need for your purchase.

Color You Groovy was born from the love of art and the dream of being a stay at home mom and artist. That being said, all art is made by me, Justine Davis, in the comfort of my home. I have a plethora of pets from cats, dogs, chickens, guinea pigs, and the occasional visiting reptile. Kids, school, life and family are always buzzing about, so while I work on making this dream come true, I rely on your understanding if response is delayed or a hair escapes the lint roller.

When browsing the shop:

  • Things that effect clothing fit:
    • Take notice brands of clothes for sizing reference, they differ from item to item.
    • Weight of fabric will vary, along with fabric content. Procion dye reacts to nature fibers such as cotton, linen, & rayon.
    • Clothing manufacture measurements vary.
    • The tie dye process requires many washes. The item has been washed in hot and cold water and will not shrink more.
  • Colors of pictured items can vary from monitor to monitor. I will photograph to the best of my ability.
  • Photos Zoom in! Check out those details.
  • Tie dye is a mystery, I can never get two items to be exactly alike and that is the appeal of the art to me! Specks of colors land in unpredictable spots. Colors separate and create blooms. Bright halos surround and contrast, colors blend, overlap, white highlights. The art is unpredictable so expect to see uniqueness.

Return Policy,

In the event you would like to return an item, please email me to begin the return process within 72 hours of delivery.

  • A 15% restocking fee will apply to all returns.
  • Buyer is responsible for any return shipping costs associated with the return process.
  • Buyer will need to ship the item back within 14 days of delivery.
  • Refund minus restocking fee will be submitted after Color You Groovy receives and inspects that item is in restocking condition.
    • Item(s) must be returned in the same condition they were originally received in.
      • Including: original new, unused, unworn, unlaundered condition.
  • Exchanges are only accepted on items unfortunately damaged in shipping. Please contact me within 24 hours of delivery to file the USPS insurance claim.

No Refund /No Exchange Exclusions

  • Sale items are non-refundable.
  • Clearance is non-refundable.
  • Custom orders made by request are non-refundable.
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • Spots, freckles, blooms, color blending, color separations, and variation of patterns are apart of the unique nature of tie dye and non-refundable.
